Saint Chris is trying to keep the Catholic school tradition alive in East Hartford.  We have managed to keep in touch with most of the Saint Chris’ alumni, but there are some who we just plain have lost track of over the years.  We are also trying to get records in place for Saint Rose and Saint Mary alumni too.  If you are an alumnus of any of these schools and did not receive our latest issue of The Connection, chances are you may be one of missing.  If you are, just e-mail me a note at ksantacross@hotmail.com or send a note to me at Saint Christopher School, 570 Brewer Street, East Hartford, CT  06118 .

We have a lot of alumni who still keep in touch, but we would like to have more.  Two are teachers at Saint Chris-  Sharon Millstein Walker ’79 is our Technology Director and Ellen Serruto Tanguay’75 teaches Spanish.  We even have an alum from Saint Rose on staff, Mary Shannon Lawson. She teaches in our Pre-K program.   Add to that, two of our Saint Chris alumni are School Board members Lisa Sander Hlavaty’76 and our Board Chair, Chris Kiely is a Saint Rose alum.

If you are interested in helping us in our search for alumni, please consider becoming a member of the Alumni Council.  Members of the Alumni Council will work with staff and School Board members on developing and promoting future alumni events. We are looking for some people to help us in connecting with our alumni through some of the social networking vehicles like Face Book and Twitter.
