Students at the Intermediate level (Grades 3-5) can look forward to:

  • becoming kind and compassionate people as they live out the Ten Commandments and strive to become Christ-bearers

  • demonstrating an understanding of the personal choices and moral consequences in literature and applying them to one’s own life.

  • using reading strategies to go beyond the text and apply higher order thinking.

  • developing an understanding and fluency of basic math facts

  • developing an understanding of numbers and how they relate to each other by applying skills to real world situations.

  • demonstrating an understanding of significant events in local, national, international and global events both past and present.

  • using a variety of strategies in written language to inform, persuade, explain, and share real or imagined experiences in order to communicate effectively to different audiences for different reasons.

  • connecting concepts and skills learned in science with their responsibilities as Catholics towards all of creation.

Upon graduation, a Saint Christopher graduate will:

  • Have experienced an education that developed their character as well as their intellect

  • Have experienced a well-rounded, integrated education in the arts, sciences, mathematics, literature, religion, and history

  • Possess reasoning skills based on faith and morals
